Qui ne connait par Penelope Cruz – actrice mondialement reconnu – ou Javier Bardem acteur qui a reçu le prix d’interprétation masculine au festival de Cannes ?
Et bien ces deux acteurs sont sur la liste noire d’une bonne partie des studios à Hollywood, qui ne renie décidément rien de ses pratiques de chasses aux sorcières. Car c’est bien pour un motif politique que les deux acteurs sont bannis de la première industrie cinématographique mondiale.
Leurs crimes ? avoir soutenu les droits des Palestiniens et dénoncé les crimes contre l’humanité dont ils sont victimes dans une conférence de presse espagnole en juillet 2014 en pleine guerre israélienne contre Gaza. Les deux acteurs ont en effet signé au coté de cent autres artistes espagnol dont le réalisateur Pedro Almodovar une lettre ouverte fustigeant les attaques israeliennes, qu’ils ont qualifié de génocide. D’après l’ONU les plus de 6000 bombardements de l’armée israélienne sur gaza de l’été 2014 sur les villes de la bande de Gaza (soit plus de 10 bombardements par heures, jours et nuits confondues) ont tués 2 251 Palestiniens dont 1 462 civils et 551 enfants. Dans un rapport l’ONU accuse Israël de crimes de guerre.
Mais visiblement, dénoncer les guerres impérialistes – et notamment celles du pseudo pode américains au proche orient qu’est Israel – est toujours interdit à Hollywood.
Quand on vous dit que le capitalisme nuit gravement à la démocratie !

En 2016, un film a retracé l’histoire du scénariste communiste Dalton Trumbo. Défendant les libertés individuelles et la liberté de conscience, il est emprisonné – ainsi que les dix d’Hollywood – pour avoir refusé de répondre à la question « Êtes-vous encore, ou avez-vous été membre du parti communiste ?« . Mis sur liste noire, il est interdit de travailler à Hollywood et doit s’exiler au Mexique. Travaillant sous pseudonyme, il remporte cependant deux oscars. Notamment pour le succès mondial qu’est « Spartacus » en 1960. Le réalisateur Kirk Douglas le crédite d’ailleurs sous son vrai nom au générique du film
